Lee v. Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc., Case No. 09-04022, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California

On July 28, 2009, Rudy Exelrod Zieff & Lowe filed a class action complaint against Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc., alleging that Ulta violated California law by failing to pay overtime wages to their store managers, including general and salon managers, despite their job duties being predominantly non-exempt. The plaintiffs' Complaint asks the court to order Ulta to pay its store managers, including general and salon managers, for the overtime they have worked in the past, and to start paying overtime to current employees.
